Gmail: Dynamic mails will arrive
Google has recently announced a novelty in its e–mail service.
On July 2, 2019, you can start sending “dynamic” emails with Gmail, which continues to evolve with new features. But first you need to know what is the purpose and corresponds to this new type of mail. Your Powertrafic agency is back today on this new Google signed.
What is this novelty?
Google has decided to make the exchange of emails more dynamic, and begins to stand out from its competitors. To do this, multiple interactions can be created in your emails, as Google explains in one of his blog posts.
Among these interactions, you will find the possibility to navigate on a website without clicking on the link of the URL, nor leaving your mailbox. It’s the same with documents from Google applications, such as Google Doc, Google Sheet, for example, or Google Calendar. You will also be able to create surveys and sell your services. The layout of the documents are accessible directly from the email received.
How will these dynamic mails work?
The AMP for Email is therefore used to build emails to include AMP components and thus offer applications available directly in the email.
Users will have to activate this feature, in the settings, in order to receive and send dynamic emails. Companies will be able to send this type of email to their customers. This will allow them to send more interactive and engaging. However, there is a problem: to be really useful for professionals, customers must activate it. If they have not done so, they will only see its static version.
